On this page, you will find links to various apps or websites that we use frequently in class. Try them out at home with your child!

Use Starfall to practice learning letters and letter sounds with fun, engaging games! Starfall also has great counting and number sense games!

Use ABCYa for fun games that teach kids about letters and numbers, as well as skill and strategy games for building critical and creative thinking.

Tumblebooks is an online library. The great part of this website is the books are read aloud! 

National Geographic Kids has amazing information and videos about lots of different animals.

Prodigy is an engaging online math game where students answer math questions while battling creatures for treasures!

Bloxorz is a math game that improves spacial awareness and problem solving ability. So addicting (even for adults).

Food Fight is an online game that pits two animals (players) against one another to see who will survive as each player attempts to build a food chain that will sustain their animal.

Text Twist allows the player to use letters to create words. Each level has a secret word that allows you to go onto the next level. Players can play times games, or untimed games. Text Twist is great for practicing spelling and phonics.

The Prince George District Learning Commons is a valuable resource for students. One part of the DLC is Tumblebooks, where students can read, or have books read to them.

RazKids A-Z is an online reading program that provides students with books at their reading level. This data is also sent to the teacher so that students are always reading books that are the best fit for them right now.

coolmathgames.com is a platform that provides engaging and often educational games (some are just for fun :) ).

TypingClub allows students to learn typing skills and practice correct hand placement on the keyboard in a fun way!

NASA Climate Kids is a website of fun games and activities to teach kids about the environment and climate change.

Kangaroo Hop helps students practice identifying shapes as they race other players to get their kangaroo safely across a river.

Penguin Jump is a fun way for students to practice their multiplication facts. Beat your friends across the river without falling in!

Practice times tables in a variety of ways online! A self-check feature lets students know which facts they need to continue to work on.
